A Spring Meme

I've been tagged by Coffee Mom to reveal 10 things I like about spring and 10 things I don't. Fatty had tagged her - and what's funny is that I really thought Fatty's list pretty much covered it all. Let's see if I can come up with a list all on my own... I think I can.
Think --- Think --- Think --

10 Things I Like about Spring
  1. Rain
  2. Crisp mornings
  3. Watching the trees bud and become leafy
  4. puddles
  5. digging out the bikes to ride bikes
  6. being able to play in the sprinkler on really warm days
  7. wearing shorts
  8. feeding the birds this year
  9. butterflies
  10. Popsicle weather!

10 things I don't like about Spring

  1. The new spring programming of "Tornado Warning"
  2. Every bradford pear in the world is in bloom
  3. allergies
  4. allergies in kids
  5. humidity that lasts until fall
  6. having to tell the kids that it's NOT swimming weather.
  7. It's too warm in the van to not turn on the A/C and too windy on the littles to roll the windows down.
  8. honey bees in the backyard clover
  9. this year - birds nesting in our play house outside and finding baby birds on the ground.
  10. bugs - which cause the kids to squeal with disgust.

Who, now, shall I tag?

I tag A&EMom, Kahri, & Juggling Paynes. But only if you want to play.

Hi Amelia! I haven't been here in a bit and it was great to catch up with you. I'm so glad J-man's surgery went well-hope he is feeling well now.
I love your picture! I don't like having my picture taken either. Holly

Hi! Give me until Monday and I'll get the tag up. I want to post a strip for Mother's Day tomorrow, especially since I can spend part of the day drawing, guilt free. ;o)
Check out what I did today! It's definitely one of my favorite things about Spring!
Peace and Laughter,
Cristina

We had our lawn hydroseeded a few weeks ago- it was not very warm but when I put the sprinkler on the next day in order to keep our new grass wet, #3 appeared in his swim shorts and sun hat, ready for running through the sprinkler. I was like, whatever, fine with me. Then he ran through, howled, cried, and hunched up into a ball because he was too cold. Blah, blah, anyways, your mention of sprinklers reminded me of that.

I relate with the not swimming weather comment. We'll have one 80 degree day out and they're begging to drag out the wading pool when the tap water is still 50 degrees. "Nope, you have to wait til June," I find myself saying at least four times a day. Happy mother's day!

Thanks for the history info. I've never heard of Peter Marshall before so I had a good look around the website. I like history books that don't ignore God. So much history was shaped by believers that you simply can't ignore Him.
Abeka will be at the HS convention I'm going to in a couple of weeks so I'll get to check their stuff out!
Thanks for everything!
