A Season of Pruning and Shifting

Don't you wish, sometimes, that you could have back ground music to your life as you go?
I mean besides the Loony Toon Theme...or that circus theme that goes round and round...

It's a season of shifting and pruning -- and I've got a song.
Funny, too...I used to skip this one on the CD player.

Silly Me.

So Long Self - By Mercy Me

My son LOVES to drum to this song...it is one of our favorites! He was standing here when I pulled up your blog this morning and said..."OH, this is my favorite, let it play!"...so we are going to listen to it right now! THanks!

Great song! I know I that I let my self get in the way of life and how the Lord would have me to live it too many times.

No season of pruning for me. Maybe we will snip that catapillar nest and that lopsided out groth next year. Is that some rot in there you ask? NO. It is just...ummm. Just....Ummmmm.

I love that song- was a guaranteed crank it up song whenever I used to hear it on the radio!

Great song - great way to live your life! When I am in the way of the plan of the Lord, all around me suffer - especially my family!

Frankly, I find it hard to keep the music from playing through my head. It's amazing how many times "Bad Day" runs through my playlist. Even if I'm not having one. I much prefer your song. ;o)
Lately I've also had showtunes stuck in my head. What is that about?

Peace and Laughter,

Hi there! Doesn't it seem like the pruning and shifting seasons occur too frequently? And sometimes right on top of each other, too. Oh well! Loved the song. Holly
