This is one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season. And then the tree grows into something beautiful, just like we can be with Christ. Amazing!
BTW:
Linus was one fo my favorite characters when I was little. :)

Yesterday at church our pastor told us to turn to Luke 2. He said that he asked someone to come and read it for him. Linus came up on our large screen and as he said "lights please" the lights dimmed. It was cool. I love that Linus.

We just watched that together Friday night, amidst groans and moans of the older kids. Till they got to the part where Snoopy dances. And then they all broke and everyone had a good time. My favorite Christmas special ever. EVER.

@ Classic - how cool is that. And I'll bet Not So Classic had something to do with the cool timing and dimming lights?! :)

Hi CD...

RYC: about grey and gray... I did not like the results so did not post it. :P

in other words, most voters went for the a but I like the e. I think it is softer and, well, greyer.

I think Miss Language's defrag is progressing nicely. She and Miss Dance were to the mall today and I did not ask for a report on any aberrant behavior. I just don't want to know.

Here is a link to her blog, if you have a few hours to catch up. :)http://www.xanga.com/gopherbrane Do not ask about the gopherbrane story. It is a long and odd one and she would try to tell you it was my idea in the first place. I am sure you would not believe any such story.

The Charlie Brown Christmas has to wait till closer to actually Christmas, or maybe even Christmas day itself around here. I am a purist, whatever that means.

I love this Christmas special. Hard to find one that mentions Christ nowadays...
