I'd like to take a moment from our regularly schedule Blogging (don't laugh)
to panic.
For just a moment.
I was driving along, minding my own business....
actually, I wasn't thinking about much at all. It was quiet in the car.
I was alone.
That's fun to say.
It was quiet in the car.
I was alone.
When SUDDENLY the thought came into my mind -- in 2 years --
2 very short years --
I will have an eldest child of 13 -- and a youngest child of 5.
I got rid of my baby stuff as fast as I could.
To get rid of stuff and make room - and the fact that we are done having babies - unless God should give us one. Which would be fine, by the way.
It still takes my breath away.
2 very short years.
sniff sniff.
Okay.
All done.
You may now return to your normal blogging schedule.

I FEEL your pain. This year my oldest will turn 13, and my youngest 4. I love the toddler stage, and am always a little sad when the lisping, etc stops. sigh. BUT, getting back to you, since this is YOUR blog. Life goes fast, but something tells me you are making the most of the time you spend with your children, even if they are growing WAY too fast!
LOL! As someone with an almost 16 year old, I understand where you're coming from. My second will be 13 soon and my youngest just lost her very first baby tooth. It really makes you feel how quickly time goes by.
Peace and Laughter,
Cristina
Bittersweet, ain't it?! My oldest will be 16 in just 16 months. UGH! And he's got the count-down running till he's able to get a job and earn his own money! Can't even fathom it.
Once they reach the teen years time just flies. My oldest, as you know, is 26 and my youngest is 8. I have no idea where the years went.
OMG!!!! YOU ARE SO OLD!!!!!!YIKES!!
~~Now back to reality~~ heehe ~~
Life is short so hug 'em MORE!!!
^.^
(((hugs))) for you too!
We are sittin' there right with ya. :) Scarlett will be 11 his year and Bubba is 2. SO, gulp, in 2 years, we'll be old...but we'll be old with you. ;)
NOOOOOOO
I can not be old.
It's impossible!!!!
If it helps any; I've been feeling slight panic over the fact that my baby will be 13 next month. 13. No more little ones left. *sniff*
"little" at my house is ten! funny how ten used to mean "big". :-)
last year my kids turned 21, 18, 13, & 10. a significant bday, every one. talk about overkill.
this year, my youngest will be half as old as my oldest, who will be half as old as me! yow.
i am really cherishing the 10-y/o's "little-ness" while it lasts!
haha- yeah, welcome to MY world! The big day was yesterday. I'm pretty sure it hit me harder than anyone else.
